Chef de Cuisine Tony Coddington is a California native who brings nearly two decades of culinary training to Artisan Beach House. Coddington found his love for the culinary arts from his great-grandmother and mother, and their simple yet crowd-pleasing recipes. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 2005, Coddington went on to work with some of world’s most esteemed chefs including Rock n’ Roll Chef Kerry Simon, Michelin Starred Chefs Alessandro Stratta, Bradley Ogden, Joachim Splichal, and James Beard Award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein.
In 2011, he joined Executive Chef Paula DaSilva’s team at the award-winning 1500 Degrees at Miami Beach’s Eden Roc Hotel. Following a stint at Michelle Bernstein’s Seagrape at Thompson Miami Beach, Coddington has reunited with DaSilva at Artisan Beach House. Together, the duo collaborates on its globally inspired menu with a focus on the season’s freshest ingredients, complementing each other’s culinary talents.
