Desirey Virgin exudes a passion for both people and food, and as Director of Catering & Events, she will use her creativity when crafting menus and planning events for guests of Artisan Beach House. Virgin started her professional career in 2011 as a Finance Analyst and three years later, she transitioned to an assistant position to a prominent Miami chef after having a change of heart. From there, Virgin went on to work alongside James Beard Award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein as an opening team member for the Florida brassiere Seagrape at the Thompson Miami Beach. In just a short time, she fell in love with the allure of South Beach and its mesmerizing hospitality scene.
Most recently, Virgin worked with Top Chef star Dale Talde at his first Miami restaurant, Talde.
